This website is dedicated to my wife Amparito Muniz.

Amparito Muniz, through her unique voice and style of singing, has garnered international recognition as one of South America's premier voices. Originally born to a poor family in Bello, Colombia (a suburb of Medellin) Amparito was able to gain stature as a singer and model by the age of 16.

Throughout her career, spanning over 30 years, she sang and performed with many of the great latin artists of our time including Juan Gabriel, Celia Cruz, Julio Iglesias, Pedro Vargas, Armando Manzanero, Luisito Rey, Blanca Rosa Gil, Rocio Durcal, Jose Jose and others.
